The idea
It all starts with Giuseppe Bottoni and two friends. The insight is simple: delivery in Italy is dominated by junk food, but there's one product everyone loves and nobody delivers well. Roast chicken.
Beloved forever, hard to find truly good, healthy and genuine — and even harder to deliver hot and perfect at home. That question gave birth to Chickenbot, in 2014.
The method
Craft beer and spice marinade. Slow sous vide cooking at low temperature. Proprietary thermal containers that keep the chicken at 60°C during transport.
Every step was designed to ensure that what arrives on your table is identical to what would come out of your own oven — if you had the hours and patience to do it right.
In 2022 we changed the chicken. Forever.
It wasn't enough anymore. We had the method, we had the customers, but intensively farmed chicken wasn't up to what we wanted to put on the table.
We chose a consortium of over 100 Italian farmers. A strict protocol governs everything: a rustic breed, used to living outdoors and moving all day. No preventive antibiotics. Plant-based feed, no GMOs. The chicken grows at nature's pace — not the industry's.
